Bahngen I knew Necromancy thanks to Flash. After going back to this about a decade later, I didn't know there was so much nice music here! Favorite track: The Emerald Lounge.

ulti_fd I came into this album thinking I wouldn't find much in here that I would like more than Necromancy, with how much I've listened to it and it alone for so many years. Was very much proven wrong. An adventurous dive through dnb, jazz, and other surprises that retains zircon's iconic atmosphere. Favorite track: The Emerald Lounge.

Amy Hsieh This is a really cool album that shows a broad range of what is possible within the DnB genre. Andy does a great job of taking the genre to a variety of different places, expressing various emotions, and drawing in influences from World, jazz, and other genres. Absolutely inspiring. Necromancy is my favorite because it's such a fun chart to play in Pump It Up, which is what brought me to the album. One True Love is also beautiful. Favorite track: Necromancy.

about

MASS MEDIA CONSTANT is a 21st century drum n’ bass odyssey for the networked generation. By drawing influence from such sources as LTJ Bukem, Photek, BT, Pendulum, and The Sims, zircon ensures no two tracks sound alike. His signature electro-organic style, developed over the course of four previous breakbeat and trance albums, has morphed and evolved with the fast tempos and scintillating colors found throughout this album.

As you listen, imagine a scene conceived by the artist during the album’s creation – walking through a super-stylized version of Times Square at midnight on a Saturday, looking at all the billboards, bathing in neon light, hearing music coming from bars and restaurants, and watching cars and buses fly by.
